Dwayne Johnson is letting everyone know that working on Fast 8, the latest installment from The Fast and the Furious franchise, has not been all rainbows and butterflies. On Monday, The Rock took to his social media channels to announce 1) it’s his last week of shooting the film, 2) his female co-stars (which include Charlize Theron and Helen Mirren) have been “amazing,” and 3) some of his male co-stars have not been so great. He writes, “Some conduct themselves as stand-up men and true professionals, while others don’t. The ones that don’t are too chicken shit to do anything about it anyway. Candy asses.
While The Rock doesn’t name anyone in particular, he cautions when you see him in the film in 2017, some of his scenes did not require an ounce of acting (“my blood is legit boiling”). FYI, Fast 8‘s male cast members include The Fast and the Furious OGs Vin Diesel, Tyrese Gibson, and Ludacris. Jason Statham, Lucas Black, and Kurt Russell have a handful of Fast and Furious movies between them, while Scott Eastwood and Norwegian actor Kristofer Hivju (aka your bae Tormund Giantsbane from Game of Thrones) make up the new class. Between Vin Diesel’s angel voice and Tormund’s luscious beard, it’s hard to venture a guess about who’s pissing off The Rock on set. Here’s hoping he’ll reveal more clues in his next blood-boiling behind-the-scenes clip.
